Inspired by the events of 9/11, "Passing" is a story of the loss of what we take for granted: the people, the repetitive patterns of our days, and the sense of comfort we once enjoyed. It also honors the stories we can't imagine that people have experienced when we pass strangers on a subway or a street corner.
